- My sisters made lots of muffin case poppies and stuck them in the window.
- Mum printed out some people standing and saluting.
- Me and Zara made Anzac biscuits all by ourselves
- I put my St John uniform on and went outside at 6:00
That is four things I did for Anzac day. I hope you went outside to.
Wow Eilidh, your window looks fabulous! You are so artistic! What a lovely thing to do in your St John's uniform. The St John's were very important in the war!
ReplyDeleteKia ora Eilidh,
ReplyDeleteI am a facilitator, like Mrs Williams and I used to work in Kōkā Michelle's class a few years back.
You really did do a lot of things to celebrate Anzac Day. I made anzac biscuits too. I think next time I will take them out of the oven a bit sooner as they were a bit too hard. How did your biscuits turn out?
I really like that you thought to get into your St John uniform to honour the Anzacs. Well done.

Hi Eilidh,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use muffin cases for your poppies, they look amazing. You look very smart in your St John uniform and I bet you felt very proud standing outside at 6:00 on Anzac morning.
Well done.
Hi Eilidh
ReplyDeleteWhat marvellous ways to honour the ANZACs as a family! The window displays are so effective. You look very smart in your St John's uniform. I hope the biscuits came out well. I like the ones that are a bit chewy. What about you - crunchy or chewy?
I love the picture of you and Zara making the cookies-I hope they turned out yum!
ReplyDeleteThank you for teaching Zara how to make Anzac biscuits. I was really proud that you got up with me for our dawn parade, it was quite cold wasn't it?
